Chris Gibbons is a Technical Professional and resident of Denver, Colorado. As an Energy Consultant for R. W. Beck, he performs modeling and analysis in the areas of generation planning, price forecasting, asset valuation, and risk management for electric utility clients.
Previously as a Software Engineer for Vicorp Restaurants, Chris implemented a payment card processing interface to a bank responsible for processing $250 million in transactions annually. When previously residing in Silicon Valley, he contributed to many software organizations in both employee and consultant roles.
Chris has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He completed a Certificate in Quantitative Finance designed and taught by Paul Wilmott.
